A Few Nutritional Facts About Fruit

Fruits are very high in nutrients and a lot of people buy and eat fruits regularly around the world. They are imported and exported throughout the world and people eat them regularly as dessert after their meal. There are some great nutrition facts about fruits. Some of them are mentioned below.

Pears are very rich in vitamin C and B. The minerals that can be found in pears are phosphorous, iron and potassium. People love drinking pear juice as it is a good source for the digestive system. It can clean the digestive system and help it function properly. Pears have a mild laxative and diuretic effect that can help in wast elimination. They contain a very high level of pectin in them and because of this eating or drinking pear juice is the best gastrointestinal and urinary cleaners.

Strawberries have a lot of benefits, and are one of the fruits allowed on the HCG diet. They are considered as good sources of iron, calcium, beta-carotene, vitamin C and potassium. They are also a good source for eliminative diets as well. Strawberries can also be used for treatment of the whitening of teeth. There is a high amount of sodium available in strawberries, which help a person keep youthful and the potassium in them is helpful for the skin. As strawberries contain iron and potassium in them, they help in strengthening the blood. They also contain high amount of vitamin C and beta-carotene which is used to keep off the cold and tackling infections, also they prevent heart disease and cancer. So, all in all, strawberries are considered one of the best fruits.

Peaches contain beta-carotene as well and vitamin C and Vitamin B. Some of the minerals that are available in peaches are iron, calcium, potassium, sodium and phosphorous. People who do not like eating peaches can drink peach juice instead. It tastes nice and has very good benefits. Peach juice can improve the eyesight and skin; also it can help prevent heart diseases and cancer. This kind of fruit is recommended for people who have had a history of heart problems.

Apricots have an exceptional amount of beta-carotene in them. They contain the highest amount of beta-carotene in them when compared to other fruits. Apricots are well-known to fight cancers. The type of cancers that apricots can help prevent are cancer of stomach, oesophagus, lung cancer, throat and bladder. They also contain a high amount of Vitamin C, which can help prevent flu and cold. Apricot is a highly recommended fruit by doctors.

Blackberries are a good source of preventing heart diseases, cancer, premenstrual tension and high blood pressure. They are rich in vitamin C and have a good amount of beta-carotene. Blackberries also contain vitamin B and E as well, and they have some important minerals in them which are potassium, magnesium and calcium. They have a high amount of iron in them as well and build blood in the human body. Blackberries are very widely eaten and people love drinking blackberry juices as well. A good way of eating them is by mixing them with prunes.
