Beet-Carrot-Apple Energizing Vegetable Cocktail Recipe

Beet juice is excellent liver cleanser and beets have been used to de-toxify and support the liver for a long time.

Beets are rich in vitamins and minerals that include beta carotene, zinc, vitamin C, and chromium (from the apple), – so it is no wonder this drink is especially energizing.

I love combining beet juice with with apples and carrots, as well as celery, cabbage, parsley, kale, and other vegetables (even parsnips, which you can in this super-red recipe here). This makes the juice even more delicious and nutrient-rich. You may also want to add a piece of ginger and lemon for extra zest.

Beet-Carrot-Apple Energizer Juice Recipe

Juice Ingredients:
1 golden or red delicious apple, washed
5 medium carrots, scrubbed well, tops removed, ends trimmed
1 small beet with leaves and stems, scrubbed well
1/2 lemon, washed or peeled if not organic
1/2- to 1-inch piece ginger root, washed

Making the juice:
1. Cut the apple and beet into sections to fit your juicer’s feed tube.
2. Juice all ingredients, stir the juice and pour into a glass.
3. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

The Juicer I’m Using and Recommend

I recently upgraded my old juicer to Breville Juice JE98XL Fountain Plus. I’m really happy with it so far. By the way, it’s the same juicer that Joe Cross used in his 60 day fast in the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead documentary. (If you haven’t seen it already – you have to watch it. It will give you even more motivation to start juicing regularly).

I never knew of this recipe. But I think this really gonna work out for me. I really love juices and I did’t know this can be a good source of the said minerals; I only knew of Vit. c.

My Juicer: Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain

The juicer that I currently use (BTW it’s the same as filmed in the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead documentary) is Breville Juice Fountain JE98XL which you can find on Amazon or in any store that carries kitchen appliances. If you’re on the market for a juicer, it's a good juicer to consider.
