If you have such beautiful radishes in your garden or can find them in a farmer’s market – definitely give this recipe a try.
Radishes add peppery bite to juice that works nicely as a flavor beside other tart and sweet fruits and vegetables. Radishes are a member of the cruciferous vegetable family, like broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and Brussels sprouts, which mean they contain phytonutrients that can help support the liver with its natural detoxification process, support the immune system, and provide cancer fighting properties. Don’t add too much, though, as radishes can be overpowering with strong flavor. To tone it down, add more apple or a pear.
