Cucumber-Tomato Cooler: Recipe For a Simple Veggie Drink

Many people shun away from eating vegetables, especially the children. It is alarming to know that most chronic illnesses today are caused by improper diet. But simply saying “eat more vegetables” is not enough. This can be done by making a juice out of it. Juices are popular among children. It was already introduced when they started to drink fruit juice. So, to start adding vegetable juice to your diet, you have to start by buying a vegetable juicer.

This is a fantastic drink that can be served chilled or over ice.
vegetable juice
1 tomato
1 cucumber
2 celery ribs

Juice tomato, cucumber and celery. Pour over ice and garnish with parsley (optional).

  1. Sounds almost like V8. Just add carrots and whatever else it has…yummmm.

  2. Making juices and smoothies for my kids with vegetables mixed in has been a great way for us to get the kids to meet their daily intake without a hassle. My son doesn’t like to eat vegetables,particularly the green ones. But given their importance in building a healthy body, we wanted to make sure he got his share. We find that mixing vegetables in with fruits is particularly effective.
