Juicing, if done regularly, can do wonders for your body. Drinking freshly made vegetable juices can help you lose weight, improve your health, give you more energy, and more.
But what if you’re not so keen on juicing? What if you find yourself not juicing as often as you’d like because you don’t have time to clean up all the mess that’s often involved with making the juice?
I know, that’s a poor excuse, but hey, lots of people admit that they have this problem.
So what’s a health-conscious person to do?
Make yourself a green smoothie!
The difference between a green smoothie and a green juice, is – of course – fiber. Some people call smoothies whole juice, because nothing is discarded, the whole plant is just blended and consumed.
For me the main benefits of blending is that smoothies much faster to make and much easier to clean up after. Plus, they are more filling than juice, so you’ll feel satisfied for longer. So, if you have a blender, and it’s been sitting idle in your kitchen, it’s time to try it out.
No matter what you choose, blending or juicing, it’s important to do it regularly.
So, have you had your green drink today?
