2 pitted plums or pitted prunes
2 apples cut into pieces
1 pear sliced into pieces

You can also like to munch on prunes or prepare a prune drink, as follows.
- To prepare the prune drink, place some prunes in a cup.
- Boil some water and let it cool to lukewarm temperature.
- Then pour the water over the dry prunes until fully covered.

As a side note, I’d like to add here that if you are suffering from constipation frequently, this is a surefire sign that you need to change your diet to include more fiber.
Especially, if you love juicing, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you are consuming a healthy diet, when in fact your diet may be deficient in this important element.
Don’t get me wrong. I love juicing.
Juicing is great – it supplies the body with lots of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other vital nutrients in a form that can be easily absorbed by your body.
However, but if the rest of what you eat consist of animal protein and processed foods, then you are not doing your body a favor.
For proper digestion and elimination, make sure that you are eating lots and lots of whole fresh fruits and vegetables as snacks, salads and smoothies. Whole grains, legumes, and nuts are also recommended.
These foods should be replacing all the constipating foods, which include all processed foods (white flour products, white rice, processed cereals, etc.), and animal protein foods (meat, dairy products).
Remember that even though being constipated once in a while is not a reason for concern, if it happens on a regular basis, it’s a problem that needs to be addressed, to avoid more serious health consequences later on.
