Juicer Recipes: Cleansing Carrot Cocktails

Here are some carrot juice recipes to inspire you.

Carrots add wonderful sweetness to green juices. Dandelion helps to flush toxins from the system and improves the liver function. It is recommended for the liver cleansing diet. Alternate these with green juice cocktail for best results.

If possible, use organic fruits and vegetables in your recipes. You can buy organic produce in many grocery stores, at farmers’ markets or you can simply grow your own. However, if you cannot find them, or you feel they cost too much – just use what you have.

Remember: It is better to drink non-organic juice, than to drink no juice at all!

Organic juices are always very expensive. But in Philippines, which is tropical, we can find a lot “lemoncito” or “small citrus fruit”, blend it with mild sugar and ice, it is really good, natural and delicious drink. The good thing about this drink is that there is no need of a blender.

I am not used to drink carrot juices, though I have tried it before but I find it a bit expensive to maintain. Anyway, as long as it is organic, it is always good for the health.

My Juicer: Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain

The juicer that I currently use (BTW it’s the same as filmed in the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead documentary) is Breville Juice Fountain JE98XL which you can find on Amazon or in any store that carries kitchen appliances. If you’re on the market for a juicer, it's a good juicer to consider.
